I Appreciate Our Girls.

Our 30 days of fun and kindness are winding down much too fast so the girls and I are trying to make the best of the days before Sydney starts full day 1st grade on Monday.  (The thought of it brings me to tears.)    Yesterday was so much fun.  We woke up in the morning, ate breakfast and left for the Mall of America for rides galore.  We were there for hours with the girls leading the way to every ride they wanted to hit.  They were so good and made it so much fun.  Let's face it, there are some days when a person thinks pet gerbils would have been an easier way to experience Motherhood and then there are days when your children make you feel so fulfilled and happy that you can't ever imagine your life without them.  Yesterday was one of those days when I couldn't have felt more blessed.  After leaving the mall we finished things off with a visit to our favorite pastry shop where the girls continued to make me proud.  It really was such a nice time, the only thing missing was Steve.  It would have been a million times better with Steve there but we know there will be other fun things with Steve there.  Later we did meet Steve at swimming lessons and had a nice dinner with him.  The girls did great at swimming and I again felt teary.  Guess it was one of those days.  These are a few pictures from our day.
Super baby....she was the best sport about just "watching" most of the rides.
Lots of sisterly love.
One of the 2 rides Gabby and I rode on.  She was in heaven.

After supper we had a fun time surprising one of our favorite neighbors with some artwork on her sidewalk.  The girls and actually Steve and I too, thought it was pretty fun.
We almost got away without her seeing us but then she came home.  It was still a lot of fun.  We are lucky to have nice neighbors.  A busy day that ended happy.  Have a great day.  Love, Gina
