This year we had a ton of pumpkins from my Dad's beautiful garden and we were able to take advantage of them with our Colorado cousins in town. For the first time ever we carved pumpkins with them and it was a lot of fun.
they really turned out great and we were all proud of our hard work. Uncle Paul really worked hard since he had the task of the mammoth pumpkin that Tess chose. Everyone worked together and we had a really fun time despite out "post-wedding" fatigue.
With my pregnancy hormones raging, I came home from work the following evening and Steve and the girls had set the carved pumpkins on the front steps for everyone to see. I couldn't help but cry, all of the pumpkins done by little people made me feel very blessed to have them. Pregnancy hormones at their best......crying over jack-o-lanterns....this was a first. Wow.
Halloween day was very busy with dressing up for school, volunteering at school and of course trick or treating.
We started out with these VIP's visiting
our little "barbie witch"
our sweet girl the werewolf!
our 3 favorite ladies and the "tear jerking" jack-o-lanterns!
A favorite holiday for the girls and another thing that ridiculously stresses me out every fall!
