Plaetz Grandview Lodge Weekend 2015

A couple of weekends ago we took our annual trip with my family to Nisswa for our family cabin weekend.  We had another fun successful year with a lot of laughter and hanging out.  Usually we do a few outdoor activities but the weather was too cold and we didn't run out of things to do inside.  There is always a baby to snuggle.
cousins to eat junk food with
daily breakfast out where the kids eat too fast and are finished before the bloody mary's are finished.
Swimming is probably the highlight for the children.

and then there is more hanging out and wrestling nephews and nieces.
We enjoyed pizza in this year
 with additional forced family photos.

We did our traditional making fun of each others parenting and
and always chuckle when it is someone else's child doing something dumb.  (This year Tess accidentally stepped on Beth's glasses.)

Nephew bribery may have been present
 and plenty of sweets consumed.
Gabby's fake smile has been perfected
and watching this children together is really my favorite.
Miss Cece wasn't feeling good by the end and may have let us know during family photos.
But really what fun is it to look at photos when everyone is smiling at the camera perfectly.
Every year someone brings the child that doesn't want to cooperate for family pics and this year I was nominated.   Nice work Cece.  But check out Gabby's fake smile, it is so perfect!
Okay Daddy, just give in and let her have the plug….she is the 4th child!
 Goodbye to our fun cabin.
and one last photo with no one crying!
Thank God for another fun weekend!  Love, Gina

Looks like you had fun! I think you are so lucky to have lots of family to do stuff with! Its how i grew up as well. Makes me a little sad for my boys that they really havent been able to experience it. Dont get me wrong, they love their older cousins but its not quite the same as having cousins the same age! Oh well. It's all good. :) happy weekend. So good to see you the other day! Xo
